What have some of our clients said about Roof Cleaners Plus and the services we provided? Quite a bit. The biggest praise we receive is about how nice, polite and hard working the crew is. "They worked from the minute they showed up to the minute they were ready to leave without taking a break. I have never had a company work like that. I was very impressed and you should be very pleased with your guys" stated Betsy P. after we cleaned her roof, vinyl siding, sidewalk and driveway (we also discarded her rusted metal gutter screens to clean out the gutters and painted the rusted metal valleys on her roof).
Comments like this have become very common and as a business owner and service provider, I am very pleased that our crew is dedicated to doing their very best for each and every client we are hired to work for. Here's hoping that you will feel the same as our other customers after you have Roof Cleaners Plus take care of your outdoor cleaning needs.
Please remember that not all Roof Cleaning Companies take care of your roof the same way. Some use pressure washers to blast off the dead algae and others use store bought chemicals and scrub brushes - both of these methods damage the shingles and never provide lasting results. Very few do it like we do - the right way. Prices will also vary greatly if you shop around. A new car at one dealership is the exact same car as at another, but the final price can be very different. You happily pay a little more for the things that are important to you - location, service, warranty, time in business, reputation, salesman and service techs attitudes, professionalism, etc. You want a clean roof at a reasonable price, but the end results can be very, very different (see testimonials below). We may be more a little more expensive than the 'new, just started, one-man-band, working out of an old pickup truck, no insurance' roof cleaning "Company," but you get what you pay for. Sometimes that means getting ripped off with crazy low or ridiculously high prices (see below). Fortunately, Roof Cleaners Plus will do what is right for you.
When getting a roof cleaning estimate, make sure: 1) The company has been established for a number of years. Are they roof cleaning specialists or is it a side business to their roofing business. Make sure they know what they are doing to your roof. We have been cleaning roofs for six years in Cincinnati. 2) Make sure they have insurance and workers comp. Roof Cleaners Plus provides copies of both for you to keep. 3) Check their BBB ratings. We have an A rating. Many roof cleaners are not even listed on the BBB site. 4) Make sure they DO NOT USE PRESSURE OF ANY KIND to clean the roof. This WILL damage the shingles regardless of how much they say it will not. Then ask how can their "Eco-friendly cleaner that will not harm plants" kill the plant growth on your roof? Six months is a long time to wait to find out it does not work! 5) Ask what is included with the roof cleaning. We clean your gutters and wash your exterior windows! We also provide maintenance to keep the stains off. 6) How many employees does the company have and how do they plan to do the job? Is it a one or two man operation geared toward getting beer money (typical of "low-ball" estimates) or is it a real business? Roof Cleaners Plus is a 'real business' with a full-time salesman, an office manager to schedule estimates and jobs, a two-man crew that will get your job done right and a specialized box-truck with all the tools to get your roof cleaned, house washed and all your cement looking like new! We also provide gutter protection that is the best in the industry. You can think of us as the NEW CAR DEALER vs the Used Car Lot Guys when it comes to price and service and what matters most to you! 7) Look at their website. Do they have the Before and After pictures to back up what they claim? Roof Cleaners Plus has cleaned so many homes we cannot post all the pictures, but you can see we know what we are doing. From Cape Cods to mansions to the biggest roof in town - RIVERBEND! We can handle any roof job. 8) Finally, are they a Roofing Company that 'offers' roof cleaning on the side - with plans to up-sell you towards getting a new roof even though your roof might only be 10 years old? We can do minor repairs, but if you need a new roof I will let you know. I might lose your roof cleaning job, but it is the right thing to do in some cases and I have done this more than once. I want your business, but I do not plan on get rich off your single job. Roof Cleaners Plus is in this business for the long-haul and we plan on growing year-by-year building a client base home-by-home. I will give you a fair and reasonable price for the level of service we provide and let you decide where to go from there. Enjoy what some of our many clients have said about us below!

"They put back every flower pot and piece of furniture they took off the deck and porch and put it right back where it belonged. I would never have remembered where it all went myself, but they did. And they did a wonderful job on the roof. Those boys are so nice! Thank you so much." Mrs. Cook of Anderson (89 yrs old) - Roof Cleaning and House Wash
"They just did a great job. I am so impressed. You should be happy with those boys and I will be happy to tell anybody what a wonderful job they did." Mrs. Clair A. of Anderson (93 yrs old) - Roof Cleaning for $350 of a very small Cape Cod that a major roofing company bid $6,000 to replace!
"Thank you for your good work on my roof. It does look great! Your service was prompt, friendly, professional and I am very pleased with the results of your work. Thank you!" L. Crouteau of Anderson
"Beautiful job your men did on the roof. Roof and gutters look beautiful. You and your men did a great job and we greatly appreciate it. Thank you so much!" Mr & Mrs Poppe of Milford - After streaks returned one year after a different roof cleaning company had guys scrubbing their shingles to remove the stains on their very large house.
"When I called the (professional) window washer to come out to clean the glass like you told me to do, he said, "Ah nuts! Those roof cleaners really mess up the glass. It's so hard to get them clean after they're done." I told him, "Not these guys (Roof Cleaners Plus). I watched them the whole time and they already cleaned the glass when they were done. Evan said to have you come out for touch up stuff, but there is not much to do." I think he will be shocked. Your guys did a great job." M. Stefan - Maintenance man for a home in Montgomery. For homes that use professional window washing services we always suggest they have their 'guy' come a few days after we are done to get the glass sparkling clean as there may be water spots from window headers or siding above the glass after we have cleaned the windows.
"Thanks for being honest. I will pass your name around." Mr. Gygi of Anderson - After being told that, although we could safely remove the algae stains without causing further damage to his shingles, that his roof needed to be replaced and he should save his money. This was for a large roof with very heavy algae staining. The current stains had returned less than 6 months after being "cleaned" by another company. It is likely that company used a pressure washer to BLAST off the stains along with a lot of the shingles granules in the process. White fibers from the base layer of the shingles could be seen from the ground there was so much granular loss. Roof Cleaners Plus will NEVER use pressure to clean asphalt/fiberglass shingles.
"We have no idea what we're doing. The boss told us to buy this stuff (Shingle Shield) and follow the directions. We sprayed it on the roof and scrubbed it in. Did it a couple of times. You can see that most of the streaks are still there. Not much else we can do. Wish you would have shown up sooner." The lead roofer of a two man crew for a Northern Ky roofing company when I showed up at the scheduled time to give an estimate. The homeowner had called several companies to get bids and had already hired this company before I was scheduled to show up. A Realtor put the For Sale sign in the yard when I was talking to the roofer. He just laughed and said, "Oh well. It looks awful, but we did what we could. Hope we do not have to do more of these."
"Thanks again for making our roof look so good! As I said, I will spread the word." Wm Chatfield, Esquire, of Indian Hill - Large wood shake roof that was coated in heavy moss and mildew growth.
"(A huge roofing company) bid $3,400 to clean the roof and wash the house. Another company bid $2,200. How can you afford to do it for $1,800?" asked a customer in New Richmond in 2007. "Because we know what we are doing and I do not plan on getting rich from one job" was my response. He signed the contract right then.
After giving a bid of $450 to clean their fairly small roof, Mr. & Mrs. B. of Hyde Park/Oakley told me that, "(Blank) Roofing bid $1,500 to clean it!" and they wanted to know how we could be so much lower. I told them, "Roofing companies do not want to clean your roof, they want to replace it. They will give you a ridiculously high bid to clean it so you will be more likely to have it replaced by them instead. They make more money replacing a roof than cleaning it." Their roof was cleaned by Roof Cleaners Plus a few weeks later and a very nice Thank You note was enclosed with the payment.
"You guys were GREAT!" D. Scott of North Bend - Roof Cleaning
"I cannot believe how nice the house looks. The roof, deck and cement all came out so nice. The new buyers will be so pleased." Mrs. Strimple of Goshen - The house was 'Sale Pending' and part of the contract was to have the roof and deck cleaned. Roof Cleaners Plus came through.
"(A huge roofing companies) guys came out and scrubbed off a single black streak I had on the garage roof last year. Now there are streaks all over the place. What's going on?" I replied, "They don't know what they are doing. They scrubbed off the dead algae they could see, but did nothing to kill the algae you could not see on the rest of the roof. That's why you have one clean spot on your roof now and the rest is turning black. We clean the entire roof so this does not happen." Conversation with a homeowner in Anderson in 2007 - We cleaned his roof that year and have maintained it since. He also told us to not lean ladders against his "Gutter Helmet" system because the last person that did so caused $150 in damage. The aluminum is so thin it can be bent with your fingers.
"Evan Wood of Roof Cleaners Plus showed up on time for the estimate, and explained what was going on with the dark streaks on our asphalt shingle roof and gave me a very reasonable price of $750 to clean it. Gutter cleaning and window washing was INCLUDED in the roof cleaning cost. That made it a really good deal! The crew showed up on time and moved furniture we had on the patio and started right to work. They were done in half a day and put everything back where it was. The algae stains were gone when they left, and all of our landscaping and the early blooming flowers didn't even know the Roof Cleaners Plus crew had been there." From a post on Angies List
"They arrived on time, and were very, very nice. They were clean in appearance, and worked the entire time until they were finished. They washed the windows from the product they used, and left everything neat like they found it. We would recommend them, and would have them back again if needed." From a post on Angies List
